Moving on up
A little over a week ago we finally had to go to Wal-Mart and get a new car seat for Matthew. He grew out of his little baby one. This new one will last us until he’s 50 pounds, which is nice.. all we have to do is turn it around so it’s forward facing one he’s 33 pounds. Another thing I want to get soon is a new stroller. I love the Bugaboo stroller but that’s obviously way out of my price range. I just want a lightweight one that isn’t bulky like his current travel system. However, I can’t use those tiny cheap umbrella strollers because I’m too tall and the handles are at waist height for me. There’s a JEEP brand stroller I REALLY like but it’s almost 100 bucks, so it’ll have to wait. For now, we’ll keep using his big bulky one.
Planning already
One of my friend’s sent me a message on MySpace to ask for my address to send me party invitations for her son’s first birthday. So, it’s got me thinking. Matthew’s gonna be a year in FOUR MONTHS. Oh god, I’m not ready for this! Heh. I’ve been looking at party invitations to get ideas for themes, but it’ll probably be something simple and cute.. and boyish, of course. We’re going to be in Florida most likely so of course all of Jeremiah’s family down there would come. I think his sister and parents are planning on showing up for it. I can’t believe my boy is almost gonna be a year. SLOW DOWNNN!
